Are you authorized to distribute Syrotech in India?

What's the difference between Syrotech 4-port, 8-port, and 16-port OLT?

Port count determines how many PON trees (each serving up to 64–128 subscribers via splitter) you can run. 4-port OLT = up to 256–512 subs total. 8-port = up to 512–1024. 16-port = up to 1024–2048. Higher port count = better cost per subscriber but more upfront cost.

GPON or EPON — which should I deploy?

GPON dominates new Indian ISP deployments — better symmetric performance, mature ecosystem, broader ONU support. EPON is more common in legacy networks and some Chinese-spec deployments. For greenfield ISPs in India in 2026, GPON is the safer choice. We stock both.

Do Syrotech ONUs work with non-Syrotech OLTs?

Generally yes — GPON standard ensures interop, but real-world OLT-ONU mixing requires testing. Syrotech ONUs work cleanly with Huawei, V-SOL, Fiberhome OLTs in most cases. We can advise on specific combos.

What's the warranty on Syrotech equipment?

OLTs: 1-year warranty, India service centers. ONUs: 1-year. Passive components (splitters, patch cords, pigtails): typically 6 months. Extended warranty available on OLTs.

Yes — Syrotech is Made-in-India and qualifies for government broadband projects. We supply state and central government ISP infrastructure, including BharatNet contractors and PSU operators.
